Come One, Come All

Come One, Come All and JOIN
Monthly Stamp Club

Monthly Stamp Club? What's That?

Each month I will be holding a Monthly Stamp Club.  This is a club you can join where you will be stamping and creating with friends and fellow stampers.  The club will meet once a month.  The fee is $25/month.  What do you get for the $25 each month?  You will receive everything you need to make two to three cards and a project (tags one month, a box one month, etc).  THEN, you will use your $25 class fee and purchase $25 worth of products from Stampin'Up!

Each month one member of the club will be named the Hostess.  When you are the Hostess you will receive free product if the minimum order is $150.  If we have six members (or more) in the monthly stamp club we will always meet the $150 minimum and the Hostess will receive free product.  Six members times $25 = $150 and viola' free product.

Interested in joining the Monthly Stamp Club. Leave me a message below with your name and phone number/email address and I will contact you with the details.

Not interested in joining right now, but are curious what it is all about?  Feel free to contact me and come to a meeting and see what we do!

NOTE:  I am always open to new ideas/thoughts/suggestions.  If you have a special stamp set/die/embossing folder/punch you would like to see used, let me know.  If you want to see a particular technique, let me know.  If I haven't see it/heard about it, you can bet your bippy I will do everything I can to find out about it!

The Club commitment runs for six months and starts in February and will run through July.  At the first meeting we will do a blind draw to see who will be Hostess for each month.

Come join the fun!

January Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card Class

January 2020
Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card Class

DATE:  January 25, 2020
TIME:   10:00 a.m.
WHERE:  My Home

Paper Pumpkin subscribers are always welcome to come over and play with the current Stampin'Up Paper Pumpkin Kit.  In addition to stamping with friends and fellow stampers, you will receive the supplies to complete two additional ALTERNATE cards/projects made from the supplies in your kit..

Stampin'Up! provides everything you need to complete each kit; including, stamp pad, all project materials (tags, glue dots, etc).  BUT if you are like me, I am usually not looking to make eight to ten identical cards/projects.  Soooo, I let my imagination run away and I come up with alternate cards and/or projects that can be created from the products provided in the kit.

I would love to have you come and join in the fun and creativity each month.  All you need to do is subscribe to the Paper Pumpkin program here by the 10th of each month.  (You only have to join once and you will receive a kit each month.  Stampin'Up! will bill you around the 10th of the month for that month's kit.  You should receive it around the 20th or so and off you go completing the great cards and/or projects Stampin'Up! has created for you.

The great thing about the Paper Pumpkin program is if you need to skip a month, you can.  Just access your account and let Stampin'Up! know.  You can also prepay for a 3-month, 6-month or 12-month subscription and never have to worry about anything.  Your kit will arrive like clock work.

If you would like to join Paper Pumpkin, please leave me a note and I will give you my Stampin'Up! Demonstrator ID Number and you will become a part of my Paper Pumpkin group!  If you live out of state or can't make it to my house for one reason or another, I will always make sure you receive a PDF of the alternate cards/projects I created each months' kits.  Be sure to sign up by January 10, 2020 to receive your kit in time for this class!

I look forward to seeing you/hearing from you.

January Classes

I have three activities and/or classes scheduled for January 2020 at this time.

Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Catalog goes live in January each year.  The Occasions Catalog features new Spring stamp sets, dies, embossing folders and embellishments to meet every occasion that happens in the Spring.  Some of the occasions covered may be Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day and Father's Day.  And do not forget those other special days -- Graduations and Weddings!

On Saturday, January 11th at 10:00 a.m., I am hosting a Preview of the new Occasions Catalog along with this year's Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  The great thing about the Sale-A-Bration Catalog is that everything in there is free depending on the amount of your purchase or the sales at your workshop.  Interested in earning free stamps?  Contact me to learn how!

Along with the Preview, I will have a stamping demonstration featuring one of the products from the new Occasions Catalog. Due to the size of my home, I need to limit the number of participants to eight.  Be sure to contact me by January 6th that you will be attending so I can "save" your spot.  The spots will be filled on a first come basis (the first eight ladies/gents to contact me).

Save the date for Saturday, January 18th at 10:00 a.m.!  I will be holding my first class of 2020 and it is a great one -- Daisy Lane.

Cost is $30.00 for the class and includes the stamp set you will be using and all the product to complete 12 cards (including envelopes).  If you love daisies, this is the class for you.
Item Number: 149325 - $23.00

If you would like to purchase the punches that go with this set, please let me know.

Item Number: 149517 - $16.00

Item Number: 143713 - $18.00

Payment in the amount of $30.00 is due no later than January 5th.  This will allow time for me to place the order and have everything arrive before the class.  If you would like to add either or both punches, please contact me for the cost.

Hold the fort!  Save the Date!  Saturday, January 25th -- Paper Pumpkin Kits (10:00 a.m.)

Have you wanted to create handmade cards and paper projects, but did not want to invest a large some of money?  I have the perfect thing for you!  PAPER PUMPKIN!

Stampin' Up! offers their Paper Pumpkin Kits for a nominal monthly fee.  You need to purchase each month's kit by the 10th of that month at a cost of $22 (including shipping) or you can pre-pay for three months, six months or a year at a time.  You can skip a month or two if you want.  You have the ability to go into your account and tell Stampin' Up! what is convenient for you.  See the information below:

NOTE:  Be sure to include my name and Demonstrator Number on your order. Please contact me to obtain my demonstrator identification number.  Click on this link to subscribe:  Paper Pumpkin

I am excited to be hosting the above events in January and look forward to seeing many of you there!

Included each month at the Paper Pumpkin Class, I will create an alternative way (or two) to use your kit in addition to the guidelines you receive in your kit.  This is my gift to you for being a member of my Paper Pumpkin Club!

Enjoy your day and I hope to hear from you soon -- Brenda

Hey, What is That?

Have you ever seen something; a card, a scrapbook page, a tag, a 3-D project, and wondered how it was done? I have, let me tell you.  And, I have been researching some of the "I wonder how that was done" items I am interested in and want to share what I found with you.

Here is a short list of acronyms/words you may have run across and wondered what they mean.  I will be adding to this as time goes on and if you have one/some you would like to know more about, I'll try my best to figure it out for you.

Stampin'Up! -- A great company (in my opinion) that offers a whole line of coordinating products to help you in your paper crafting adventures.  Ink, markers, card stock, designer series paper (fabulous designs), stamps, embossing folders, dies, envelopes, kits and accessories are many of the items you will find in their annual catalog.  (Click on the image shown to the left and you can peruse the entire selection!)

Paper Pumpkin - This is a product offered by Stampin'Up!  Each month a new Paper Pumpkin Kit is offered for purchase by Stampin'Up! through their Independent Demonstrators.  One month it may be cards, another month it may be bags or tags -- each month is a wonderful surprise.  {Currently the cost is $22/month -- including postage.  There is a pre-paid option, too.  If you are interested, you can ask your demonstrator (or me) for more information.}

CASE - Copy And Save Everything.  Have you see a card you absolutely love?  We all have.  Please feel free to copy it or adjust it to your visions and be sure to acknowledge the original creator in your posts.  All of us enjoy knowing others love what we have created!

Stamp-A-Stack - This is a "class" offered by Stampin'Up! Demonstrators which you can attend and make several cards at one time.  The number of cards and the cost of the class depends on the Demonstrator and what he/she is offering.

PP - Paper Pumpkin (see above)

PPAP - Paper Pumpkin Alternative Projects Class.  Many Demonstrators offer this class for their Paper Pumpkin customers to demonstrate how you can take the product found in a Paper Pumpkin Kit and create other things.  A great way to use up those left-over bits and pieces you have left every month.

Stamp Camp - This can mean different things to different Demonstrators, but it is basically a class a Demonstrator holds for her customers to come over and create a set of cards/3-D items (usually once a month.

Stamp Club - This is a group of ladies (and gents) that agree to participate (usually 6) for a pre-arranged period of time.  Each month each participant pays a set fee (usually $25/month).  Each month one of the participants is chosen to be the "host" or "hostess" (usually at the first meeting of the pre-arranged period of time the host/hostess for each month is determined).  At the Club meeting you will usually make a project or two and place an order for stamping products of at least $25 (including packing and shipping fees and tax).  The "host" or "hostess" will earn free products based on the sales that month.

Note:  The $25 order is the cost of the Club Fee each month, not in addition to the monthly fee.

Workshops -- A customer will have her Demonstrator come over to conduct a Workshop -- showing a group of his/her friends stamping projects and explaining how to create beautiful them with stamps.  Usually the attendees will purchase items they are interested in and the sales are totaled up and the Hostess will earn free product based on the sales.  It is a great way for a group of friends to get together, have fun and learn about new stamps, products and techniques.

Let's face it, none of us can normally afford to buy everything we want at one time; so with this thought in mind, we have created several clubs that you might be interested in signing up for at one time or another.

Marker Club - Stampin'Up! offers four basic color collections (ten markers each) as well as two sets of In-Colors (the In-Colors are available for only two years at a time and will be replaced, one set each year).  In-Colors include five markers for each group for a total of ten markers). To be able to purchase all the markers offered would cost approximately $150 plus shipping and handling and tax.  To make purchasing the markers more affordable, a Demonstrator will offer a Marker Club where five customers agree to participate for five months and pay $30/month, plus shipping and handling and tax.  At the end of five months, each participant will have all the markers.  (As an example:  Each participant chooses the order they get to choose; i.e., 1 through 5.  The first month Participant "1" would receive the Neutrals Color Collection, Participant "2" would receive the Brights Color Collection, Participant "3" would receive the Subtles Color Collection, Participant "4" would receive the Regals Color Collection and Participant "5" would receive both In-Color Collections.  In addition, the first month Participant "1" would receive the marker case that holds all the markers, month two Participant "2" would receive the marker case, etc.  At the end of the Club, each participant will have all 60 markers and the case.
Be sure to check with your Demonstrator on her club rules.

Stamp Pad Club - Again, Stampin'Up! offers stamp pads in all 60 colors.  Ask your Demonstrator if he/she offers a Stamp Pad Club.  They will give you the details of how they run their club.

Paper Share - Stampin'Up! offers numerous Designer Series Papers each catalog.  Not everyone wants a full package of each set, but would love to have a "little" of everything.  Many Demonstrators offer what is called a paper share -- instead of buying a full package of 12"x12" paper for each paper collection, you will receive 6"x6" samples of all Designer Series Paper offered.  Your Demonstrator will provide you the details of their "share" and the cost.

Stampin' Blends Club -- Stampin'Up! offers these markers which allow you to blend your colors.  Find out all about them on Page 179 of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  As your Demonstrator if he/she offers a club where you can purchase all the "Blends".
